Is Sustainable Attainable?
Global Advance is all about igniting and empowering changemakers to advance the kingdom through sustainable models. Isaiah 9:7 says that there will be no end to the increase of God’s Kingdom. If we believe that, then we should be confident that God has placed the people and the resources in every nation to accomplish His purposes. Our role in promoting sustainability in nations is targeted in three ways:
National Teams: Our national teams model provides collaboration, coaching, synergy, and support for high-capacity leaders to deploy measurable kingdom objectives beyond what they could accomplish on their own. By sharing relationship, vision, resources, and accountability, our teams become powerful force multipliers for the gospel’s advance. In this publication you’ll learn how our Bangladesh National Team is executing a unified strategy to transform their nation in the story, “The Power of Collaboration.”
Healthy, Multiplying Churches: Global Advance continues to equip pastors and church planters to grow in health and to multiply healthy churches. Healthy church leaders understand the importance of raising up all members of the body to fully realize their identity, influence, and impact for Christ. They multiply disciples and should be engaged in local and cross-cultural mission. A truly indigenous church can stand on its own while engaging God’s mission. We (from the West) should always view our role as the junior partner in missions.
Kingdom Business Networks: Our marketplace missions focus on equipping believers in the marketplace to work, produce, and influence others for God’s glory. We have a vision to launch numerous networks that provide ongoing community, training, and support for kingdom-minded leaders in the marketplace. Let’s ignite Christians in the marketplace to operate businesses that glorify God! Let’s awaken this sleeping giant to live out the gospel outside the walls of the church!
A Cameroonian businessman once shared with me, “For too long Africans have had our hand out. It’s time for us to step up and be the ones to solve problems and meet needs.” God used that precious man to ignite my heart to help Christians in the marketplace in developing nations. What a joy it is to engage with business owners in India and Vietnam who are funding orphanages and church plants. What an opportunity we have to mentor the next generation to fulfill the Great Commission in every sphere of society!
Is sustainable attainable? By God’s grace, yes!
As healthy leaders are multiplied, ultimately, they are equipped with the spiritual and economic foundations to drive their own kingdom initiatives. Thank you for your partnership! Together, we’re igniting changemakers worldwide with sustainable solutions for the gospel’s advance.
