Can You Disciple a Nation?

The world is desperately lacking spiritual mothers and fathers who will stand in the gap and teach what is good to the next generation of believers.

Global Advance is answering this need. In Nepal, we’re investing in passionate women leaders like Lily by providing vision and tools through biblical leadership training. But that’s only the beginning. With ongoing mentoring support, Lily has begun the multiplication process of using what she’s learned to raise up an army of women leaders who will mentor others!

Lily recently gathered and commissioned over 40 women trainers who will now lead mentoring groups in their own communities. “Their faces were shining! One woman shared that she went from extreme loneliness and feeling that she had no value, to now knowing she has great purpose.” One by one - in cities, towns, and villages across Nepal - these spiritual mothers are uniting together to raise up modern day Esthers to be difference makers for the gospel’s advance.

The Nepal National Team has their sights set on discipling their entire nation, and they’re already gaining incredible ground. How is it possible for a handful of changemakers to disciple an entire nation, you might ask? One disciple at a time. This is what the Great Commission is all about – disciples making disciples... who go on to make more and more disciples! This isn't addition; it's a force multiplier for the gospel's advance.
