For those of us who live in freedom and can gather without harassment with other believers, it’s easy to become comfortable. Let’s not forget that many of our brothers and sisters around the world face constant persecution for being followers of Jesus.
Persecution comes in many forms. Harassment. Being shut out from business opportunities. No allowance for a building permit to hold church services. Being forced unfairly to leave a current facility or face unbearable fines. Beatings. Torture. Threats. Even murder.
In February Newsweek reported a 309% increase in terrorist attacks against Christians since 2003 in Africa, the Middle East and Asia.
Over the years your support of Global Advance has allowed us to minister encouragement and strength to frontline shepherds, their families, and businesspersons who live in a constant environment of persecution. Together we stand with our persecuted brothers and sisters. Revelation 11:15 declares where history is headed: “The kingdom of the world will become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ!”
Let’s pray for believers around the world facing persecution. Many times God uses these hardships to extend His glory in a greater measure.
If you’d like to support The Persecuted Church Fund at Global Advance you can do so online. This will enable us to bring hope, encouragement and training to frontline leaders around the world in persecuted regions. Thank you for partnering with us!
Gratefully commissioned,
