LoriAnn Lowery-Biggers

LoriAnn Lowery-Biggers is President-Operations for Navigators Management Company. Navigators (NASDAQ: Navg), is a New York based global insurance company, with offices throughout the US, Brazil, China, London, Stockholm, Belgium and Copenhagen.  Prior to Navigators, LoriAnn was President of North America for Lloyd’s of London.  She has over 22 years of experience in the insurance/financial services sector, and has also held executive positions with Wells Fargo and Marsh McLennan.

She sits on the boards of the A-21 Campaign, Prevent Child Abuse America National Board, U-Turn, St. John’s University and Global Advance.


Jim Blackburn

Jim Blackburn started Blackburn Consulting Services, L.L.C. after his retirement from EDS.  Blackburn Consulting Services specializes in consulting engagements in the areas of leadership development and operations management. Past engagements include a fifteen month assignment serving as COO for a global Christian ministry, a leadership development engagement for a Dallas investment firm working to establish corporate culture and improve leadership performance and teamwork, an engagement with a California insurance client with 2B in revenue to develop  new processes to support Strategic Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting.  Jim has also conducted leadership and human resource training at business seminars in India, South Africa, Cameroon, Ghana, Columbia and Peru.

Jim retired from EDS in July, 2005, where he served as an Enterprise Client Delivery Executive, with responsibility for EDS’ service delivery to large enterprise clients. In this role, Jim had responsibility for account operations, client satisfaction and relations, and EDS staffing and productivity. Jim brings 35 years of broad EDS experience with an emphasis on business and technology management in large outsourcing arrangements.

Jim received his B.S. in Mathematics from Tulsa University in 1969. Jim currently serves on the Board of Directors of Jewish Voice Ministries International in Phoenix, Arizona and Global Advance in Rockwall, Texas.  Jim and Dale, his wife of 42 years, currently reside in Plano, Texas.  


J. Troy Henry

President and CEO

Experience in General Industrial Construction, Project Estimating and Management, Millwright, Sheet Metal, Fabrication, Welding, Responsible for Equipment Manufacturing, Product Manufacturing, Product and Equipment Research, Contract Negotiations & Development, Marketing & Sales.   Instrumental in development of new equipment products including: The Bun & Bread Pan Cleaners, Extrusion Pumps, Bun & Bread Slicers and a number of custom design/build equipment for specific customers. Troy is on the Board of Directors for Global Advance.


Sally Knox-Witt, M.D.

Dr. Sally Knox-Witt is a breast cancer surgeon at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, in the United States. She has consulted with and treated over twenty-one thousand women. She serves on the teaching staff at Baylor Medical Center and has been in private practice since 1986.

Early in her practice she founded The Bridge, a non- profit organization specifically created to assist under-insured women who find themselves battling breast cancer.   Since 1992 The Bridge has grown in size and staffing and has assisted twenty-six thousand women who lacked adequate medical insurance.  

Sally has been voted Best Breast Cancer Surgeon by Texas Monthly and D Magazine for five years.  Sally is active in local and international missions.  She serves not only on the Board of Directors for Global Advance, but also lends her expertise to several other missions organizations. 


Todd Lane

Todd Lane is an Associate Senior Pastor at Gateway Church. Todd is a business school graduate with a degree in finance from Baylor University. He has worked with Fortune 500 companies across the U.S. and New Zealand in the areas of finance, operations, and management. Todd has developed and overseen the business operations of Gateway Church for the last 5 years.

  

 

 


Dale O’Shields - Chairman

Dale O’Shields is the founding and Senior Pastor of Church of the Redeemer, a multicultural church that operates two campuses in Maryland, just north of the greater Washington, DC area.

Pastor Dale is known for his relevant teaching style focused on practical application in people’s lives. His messages are regularly broadcast on radio and television. He is also the author of several books, devotionals and group study guides.

Pastor Dale is a frequent conference speaker with a passion for leadership development and church growth. He has served as the Senior Pastor of a thriving local church for over 25 years. His heart to equip and encourage pastors and church leaders which has led him to be a key founder of United Pastors Network.

Pastor Dale has been involved in pastoral ministry since 1978, serving previously as Director of Campus Ministries and as an adjunct instructor at Regent University in Virginia Beach, VA. He and his wife Terry have two married daughters and four grandchildren.


David Shibley - Founder

David Shibley is founder and chairman of Global Advance, a ministry providing on-site training, resources, and encouragement for church and business leaders worldwide.  Founded in 1990, Global Advance provides training for thousands of church and business leaders annually in dozens of the world’s least served nations.  Since its founding, Global Advance has provided face-to-face training for over 516,000 church and business leaders in 80 nations.  David has ministered in over fifty nations in conferences, churches, and evangelistic outreaches.  Also, he ministers extensively throughout the United States challenging the American church to reach its full missions potential.

Raised in a pastor’s home, world missions has been a central theme of David’s life and ministry.  The long-term vision of Global Advance is to equip and assist one million pastoral leaders in planting one million new churches.  The “marketplace million” is a vision to equip one million Christians in business as “marketplace missionaries” to impact the workplace for Christ.  A major emphasis for David is mentoring young men in ministry.  He has been interviewed on several Christian television network programs including The 700 Club, TBN, and Daystar.

David is the author of numerous articles and twenty books including the acclaimed missions classics, A Force in the Earth and The Missions Addiction.  He is a graduate of John Brown University in Arkansas (where he was named 1995 Alumnus of the Year) and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.  He also holds an honorary doctorate from Oral Roberts University.  He and his wife, Naomi, have been married since 1972 and have two married sons, two granddaughters, and two grandsons.


Naomi Shibley

Naomi Shibley has been in ministry with her husband, Dr. David Shibley, for 40 years. Following 19 years of pastoral ministry, Dr. Shibley and Naomi launched Global Advance in 1990 to equip developing-world pastors and leaders around the globe.  Naomi serves as business manager for Global Advance as well as participating in training events worldwide.  Naomi and Dr. Shibley have two grown sons, two granddaughters, two grandsons, and another grandbaby to be born June 2012.


Jonathan Shibley - President

Jonathan Shibley serves as President of Global Advance.  Since 2000, he has helped shape the organization’s growth and its international impact.  Global Advance has provided leadership training for more than 600,000 pastors, businesspersons, and women leaders in 82 nations.   He founded the Marketplace Missions initiatives of Global Advance, which focus on equipping thousands of Christian entrepreneurs and business professionals around the world with vision and acumen to become catalysts for fulfilling the Great Commission.

He holds a Business Degree from Baylor University in Waco, Texas.  He and his wife, Sarah, have three children.


Jon Tryggestad - Secretary Treasurer

Jon Tryggestad is a General Partner of TVG Capital, which invests in medical and real estate projects, as well as Latin American ventures.  He previously held the position of Co-managing Partner at Cirrus Asset Management, LP.  He also serves on the Global Advance Board of Directors.
